Competitive niche vs non-competitive niche

You'll hear a lot of different opinions about this.

Most people prefer to go to non-competitive niches... I prefer to go to crowded ones.

Why?

Well... in first place, there are competitive for a reason. There's more people there, theres is more money, more products, more opportunity overall.

In less competitive niches there is less opportunity in all aspects.

By no means I'm saying that no competitions is bad. What I'm saying is  that there's more room to scale in all aspects in niches where there are more people.

What I recommend though, is to not pick just a super general niche and try to sell something there.

Instead pick a big niche and narrow down to a certain demographic so your whole business is build to serve and help those customers.

A great book on this topic is "Blue Ocean Strategy". Definitely worth the read.
