A fifty dollar painting purchased at a New York barn sale is set to auction for up to $200,000 after being recognized as a 1912 work by Canadian artist Emily Carr. Art dealer Allen Treibitz bought the piece, titled ‘Masset QCI’, which features a totem pole with a grizzly bear.
