This week on the Faith on the Journey we get to talk to Jerry Prosapio, the founder of Katie’s Comfort Ministry. Katie’s Comfort Ministry exists to bring hope and healing to individuals who are suffering from depression or are dealing with the loss of a loved one. The Prosapio family started this ministry after the tragic death of their daughter, Katie. Jerry and his family share, “We saw God help our daughter and sister, Katie, break free from depression and comfort our family as we dealt with the loss of Katie”. Jerry now speaks at events, helping other men walk through the process of grieving the death of their child. He and his wife will send comfort baskets to grieving parents and continue to share their family’s story.
