Was the day the music died, the day that old worldviews and traditional social conditioning suddenly no longer made sense? Sure, it was about the death of Buddy Holly, and sure, there are perhaps allegorical characters specifically mirroring cultural celebtrities, but as a whole, is this not a universal process of growth?
