Marriage is the ONE picture God gave us as an example of Christ and his bride the church; and the single most important thing God calls us to in marriage is UNITY - to become one. As we explored this on a date night with other couples in our mavens group recently, my friend Carrie challenged us to only - I mean ONLY use "WE" instead of "I" to describe everything we did as individuals / couples, and in the midst of this, God gave me the sweetest revelation of how as married couples we can WAY more deeply experience His grace and mercy, too!
