Today in the Back Shed, we look back to some advice that was given to a new believer almost 50 years ago. Does it still stand today? Tune in to find out.

Three basic steps that you can take to grow:  (Adapted from Pastor William Steele - March 1, 1973)

1. Spend time daily in scripture for the purpose of growing to know your Lord better, not for the purpose of solving problems.
2. Learn to pray without ceasing. Start  your day bringing everything you are doing that day to Him. Finish the day reviewing the day in prayer, confessing where you failed and thanking Him for victories.
3. Get into a study group of some kind.
