Farm Talk Newspaper is celebrating 50 years of as the four state's #1 source of quality ag content for SE Kansas, SW Missouri, NE Oklahoma and NW Arkansas.

Many staff have shared in its legacy, but one founder stayed involved in production in Parsons, Kansas for over 40 years. Host, Emily Zahurones invited former ad manager and publisher Ted Gum to share his story and detail the history of Farm Talk starting from 1974.

Farm Talks podcast episodes will be dropped monthly on the first Friday of the month, each covering a unique segment of agriculture in the four states. Farm Talk invites producers to listen in on stories that reach the heart of the matter in the heartland.
