On Tuesday January 28, more than 500 advocates came to the State Capitol to join children with currently and formerly incarcerated loved ones to demand “Parole Justice for our futures”. Participants called for passage of the Fair & Timely Parole and Elder Parole bills to end permanent punishment, promote rehabilitation and healing, and help build safe communities. Many lawmakers spoke at the rally.
