The FDA and 5000 Years Foods now now recall 5000 Years Kimchi Products.  These products are contaminated with listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that causes severe and sometimes fatal infections in the young, old, and immunosuppressed.  It can cause miscarriages and stillbirths.  This product was distributed in IL but sold nationwide.  If you have any of this kimchi, don’t consume it.  Return it to the point of purchase for a refund.  For additional information, call 5000 Years Foods by phone at 1-773-509-8600.
