when i'm around I just wanna feel
as cool as any cat who walks in the bar about every night
around this time and leaves at the end
he's got the world by the balls and everyone looks up to him
very, very slowly, it will be me
i'm gonna become the coolest guy in this draining town
and when I stand, everyone kneels
clicking their heels
spur of the moment at best
and I can never rest
because someone's out there eyeing me down
they wanna replace and achieve by any means
no, you can't kill me
no, you can't fill me with lead
I won't be a victim of fame
