Kevin Kelly wrote one of the most influential blog posts in 2008 called 1,000 True Fans.  In it, he talked about the power of nurturing 1000 people who will buy, attend, and promote EVERYTHING you do and create.  

The way to develop 1000 true fans is by being a specialist - not a generalist.  I explore how this became true for me in my business and what I did once I realized I needed to get out of the rat race of generalism and into the superhighway of specialism!
