Good evening and welcome to another episode of 50Talk. Sorry about last week with no episode but you know, life happens. This episode we jump into how Cathy is feeling 2 weeks post surgery. Of course I can see that she is doing great but she tells you all how it really is. I call her "Cathy with the enhanced hip" and she loves it. Our 1st topic of the show is the Uvalde Police Chief and him not knowing who was in charge at the scene the day of the shooting. We can't make this shit up. Next we talk about if we really believed that the Congress was actually going to make changes in the gun laws. We've been hearing that changes are close and that the Congress has come together to finally make change. Well its been three weeks and the talks have stalled and Republicans are ready to leave the table. Good try Matthew McConnahay, these politicians really don't care, just like we thought, but in the mean time we have my fine state of Ohio putting more guns into schools by allowing teachers to carry in class with basically no gun training and no license. Once again, we can't make this shit up! We go on to mention a school district in my hometown who are not allowing kids to have there phones in the classroom. We talk about how much of a bad idea that is.  Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there doing there thing for there kids.  We have some Father and son bonding going on at the Rally on January 6th. What better way to bond then over a government overthrow! Next Cathy and I talk about some of the things we've been watching the last couple of weeks on Netflix and Amazon Prime Movies.  Cathy has a couple questions for me to answer. What could they possibly be?  Today is also the Inaugural Celebration of Juneteenth in the United States. We give a little history on why today is so special for America but especially for Black America.  We hope you all are out there celebrating and reflecting but also being safe in the process.  And finally to end the show with some "Breaking News" about our (old ass) President.
