Welcome back to 50Talk Episode 9 of Season 2. Cathy and I are fresh off our journey to The Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We start of the show talking about some high lights and low lights of our trip to Georgetown, Kentucky and Lexington, Kentucky. Our journey for fine southern cuisine and the best bourbons that The Bluegrass State have to offer. We did just that for our three day journey. We did some planned things to a few Distelleries and we ran into a couple places not planned but ended up enjoying to. I guess I personally didn't know that bourbon was a product of Kentucky (well only the best bourbons) until a little while ago. I hope we don't bore you with our talk of booze but it's just what we do. We one planned stop for BBq while in Lexington but ran across another great restraunt while touring downtown Lexington. Needless to say we had a great time and are already planning our next run of Bourbon tasting in Louisville. We do have some other topics to talk about as well. We (me) get a little excited about the leaked opinion piece from Justice Alito on the overturning of Roe v Wade. To me this is a big deal and I fell its moving our country in the wrong direction. Trying to take away the womans right to choose is horrible in my eyes. There is to much wrong in this country to take that away from them. Doing this is just going to have a trickle effect for to many things. I get a little caught up in this conversation but I try to keep my thoughts together the best I can. We talk a little about the recent Ohio Primary election and the Governors race in Ohio. All I will say is if we want change we all need to get out there and vote come election time. We have to stop this back peddeling this country is doing. We also talk a bit about the attack on comedian Dave Chapelle while he was performing in Los Angeles. Is it wrong to thank Will Smith for the nut-bags of the world that believe this is acceptable? We talk about the 2022 Nominees for Induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Finally we close the show out with the Sherriff who walked a cold blooded killer out of an Alabama prison a couple weeks ago. We hope you guys enjoy the show and please join us again next week and if you enjoy us please let your friends know as well. See ya'll next week!
