Today's episode features Part 2 of 2 of our Global Voices for Change: Policing, Communities, and the Common Good Conference. As a reminder, Saybrook University hosted this conference in the wake of the murders of George Floyd, Ahmed Arbery, and Breonna Taylor, bringing together community members, policing agencies, and universities from around the world to spend time in dialog that will lead to action that promotes humanistic policing practices toward stronger community engagement and reforms that lead to greater racial & social justice both here in the United States and across the globe. Our segment today features the final three panel discussions including: the first focusing on police officers’ experiences in the field; the second on humanistic policing, and the last is centered on moving from dialog to action.
