Chelsea Williams has paid her dues. After many years and hundreds of hours busking on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, one day the owner of Blue Élan records asked her if she wanted “to make the record of her dreams.” Fast forward and Chelsea Williams is now celebrating the release of her latest album, Beautiful & Strange - a dreamy collection of winding stories set against lush sonics produced by her musician husband, Ross Garren. Chelsea talks about her affinity for odd and unusual instruments such as the musical saw and toy piano which both make appearances on the record.
