The Beatles sang about love, but the apostle John's gospel and his epistles are the major vehicles for God's official version of what love is and its place in our lives. This word study of three verses in the gospel of John reveals the importance Jesus placed on love in the process of restoring fellowship in a relationship broken by betrayal.  I preached this sermon at Freedom Baptist Church in Colorado Springs on 1/22/2023, which I have edited and expanded for publishing on this podcast. I have divided it into two parts because of its length.

This study interrupts the ongoing studies in the Book of the Judges, because the nature of its content is better suited to this podcast rather than it is to Give Me This Mountain or In Times Like These.
