Rachael Nerney is a Charleston-based artist (painter, muralist, and illustrator) who has successfully managed to pursue her own creative journey full-time. Her bold, colorful, and full-of-life works of art speak to her deep love of food and the natural world. We chat about her path from designing art and signs for Whole Foods to now cultivating her own independent Artist journey, following your intuition, challenges with pursuing your dreams, and the importance of consistency.

I had the pleasure of having Rachael as a roommate in college at SCAD and it's been an honor to witness her evolution as an artist and creative human. She's been such a guiding light for myself and other creatives that dream to build their personal brand and consistently show up for yourself and creative practice.
