I feel so drained.

I’m so frustrated.

I feel so overwhelmed.

I’m so stressed out.

I feel so depleted.

I’m so unsatisfied.

I feel so unfulfilled.

I’m so exhausted.

Are you hanging on by a thread? Burnt out?

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HAD THOUGHTS LIKE THESE OR FEELINGS LIKE THESE???

I know I have had them many many times! Life can be so hard, motherhood can be exhausting, marriage can be disappointing.. ALL THE THINGS...

But I realized one thing.. YOU CAN'T POUR FROM AN EMPTY CUP. It all stems from that place.

It all comes from a place of defeat! If you are feeding everybody else but yourself, you will never have your cup full. If you are Meeting everyone else’s needs but yours you will never walk in victory.

So what does filling your cup look like?

Start to become aware of the areas in your life that you feel empty in. Your mental health, your physical health, your spiritual health, marriage, motherhood, etc...

You must pour INTO YOURSELF first to then be able to pour out well. Start taking small steps. Go to bed 10 minutes earlier, take 10 minutes to be with the Lord, take a nice bath, go on a date with your husband, go outside and rest for 10 minutes. YOU MATTER. SELF CARE IS NOT SELFISH. YOU DESERVE TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!
