Welcome to another LIVE Yin Yoga replay with Nola Bloom at Orion Healing Center.
Join Nola as she guides you through a soul-nurturing journey, aligning your practice with the powerful energy of the New Moon.
While Yin Yoga is generally accessible to all levels, this class, without visual cues, is tailored for yogis with some experience. If you're new to Yin Yoga, Nola has an episode titled "Serenity by the Sea: An Ujjayi Breath Meditation" for a tutorial on Ujjayi Breath, a foundational aspect of this practice.
Time Stamps:
(00:00) Reclined Butterfly Pose
(07:40) Waterfall Pose (Supported Shoulder stand)
(12:54) Supported Bridge Pose
(17:32) Banana Asana Right Side
(23:03) Banana Asana Left Side
(29:27) Dragonfly Pose (Wide Legged Forward Bend)
(37:10) Dragon Pose Right Leg forward (Supported Low Lunge)
(42:30) Dragon Pose Left Leg forward (Supported Low Lunge)
(48:26) Peaceful Savasana Meditation
While Yin Yoga is generally beginner-friendly, this class is audio-only, so it might be better suited for yogi's that have a bit of experience with Yin Yoga and can follow guidance by voice only.
Time stamps are included for your convenience.
Nola also has a different New Moon Yoga Class on YouTube, so please practice to that class if you need visual ques.
Before you hit play, gather your yoga props – a bolster, a couple of yoga blocks, and some cushions. If you have them, you can even use sandbags to enhance your experience.
Before you start, please be aware that Yin Yoga involves long stretches that get deep into the connective tissue, ligaments and joints through mindful breathing and stillness. If you experience any discomfort or pain during the practice, remember it's perfectly okay to make adjustments that suit your body. Your practice is a journey, and your body knows best.
Join us as we embark on this tranquil voyage of self-discovery through Yin Yoga. Relax, breathe, and allow your inner light to shine. Namaste.
