Jesus wants us to understand that by following him, we are growing into a new creation. Just as these seeds in the field or this tiny mustard seed become something of great use to the world, we become something of great service in the Kingdom of God. We see that all of these things work together to knit together a world that is entirely like the one we see but distinctly other. A distinctly better world.
