On May 23, 2014, Elliot Rodger initiated his self-entitled “Day of Retribution” in the beachside college town of Isla Vista.  In his wake, he left 6 people dead, not including himself, 14 others injured, and an entire community asking why?  Well, Rodger is one of those narcissistic types of killers who left behind a nearly 140 page manifesto explaining himself…and it is truly fascinating.  His writings are a virtual roadmap from the time he was born to the time he carried out his retribution.  In this three part series of Killafornia Dreaming we are going to examine this manifesto, with part two covering ages 13 to 20.
