Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents because you belong to the Lord, for this is the right thing to do.

Eph 6:2 "Honor your father and mother." This is the first commandment with a promise:

Eph 6:3 If you honor your father and mother, "things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth."

1 - Jesus had a mom & He loved her

John 19:25 Standing near the cross were Jesus' mother, and his mother's sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas), and Mary Magdalene.

John 19:26 When Jesus saw his mother standing there beside the disciple he loved, he said to her, "Dear woman, here is your son."

John 19:27 And he said to this disciple, "Here is your mother." And from then on this disciple took her into his home.
