TJ Pittman is a Samford law student, who is currently living and working in Ruston, La where he completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University. TJ grew up moving around the Southeastern United States with his career military family. This diverse and unique upbringing gave TJ a very disciplined, but overwhelmingly, outgoing, friendly attitude towards life. In this podcasts we talk about how TJ has continued to break stereotypes that were forced upon him. From the first person in his family to graduate college, to the first African-American man in the Gamma Psi chapter of PIKE fraternity. In the later half we discuss recent events of racial injustice with in the United States, ways that we may be able to combat these injustices. TJ and myself acknowledge that this conversation is not perfect, but it is a start. We hope that the conversations had on this podcast, will be taken into the world so that we may challenge each other to better, more loving people... of all people.
