As an Emergency Physician, Dr. Leah Houston previously worked in Emergency Departments all over the country for almost 10 years. During that time, she observed firsthand the harm this current system does to both physicians and patients. These experiences afforded her a deep understanding of the problems that plague the United States healthcare system, barriers we face to correction, and the importance of a decentralized solution.
