Apologies for the late drop, but Nick and Jared are back with the final episode of season two and they go out with a bang by kicking the off with Rolling Stone's Top 200 Greatest Hip Hop Albums of All Time list that had a lot of people talking for better and mostly for worse. We talk about what the magazine ranked as number one and one particular album that ranked higher than a lot of critical applauded and fan favorite albums (list further below in the notes). Next up, The Game is on his rap Wrestlemania rollout with his new album Drillmatic and is still hurt about him not being included at this year's Super Bowl but still continues to drag down Eminem. We give our thoughts on if we have high or low expectations for his upcoming album especially since there's no track listing (as of this episode) and no released singles. After that, XXL dropped their annual Freshman List on who's next to break out in hip hop (list and link further below in notes). We talk about the up and coming rappers and give our takes on who will break out in 2022 AND discuss our favorite years of the XXL Freshman List from the past. Later, Drake surprised the world by dropping a new album Honestly, Nevermind and... it divided a lot of fans and people have given it negative reviews. We give our (negative) takes on Drake's new album to lots of laughs. All that and Wu-Tang, laughs, album recommendations and more!
