NEW YEAR NEW US...? In this week's solo episode, we dive into our New Year's resolution, and the topic of  codependency and how it has been impacting our relationships. We discuss the importance of setting boundaries and not taking on the emotions of others and having to be in control at all times.

We explore the definition of codependency and how it shows up like having a hard time just saying "no" and putting others' needs before our own. We also touch on the ways in which codependency can manifest in different types of relationships, including romantic partnerships, friendships, and family.

We share some of our own personal experiences with codependency and caretaking and how we are working on overcoming it in 2023. By sharing our stories, we hope to encourage listeners to reflect on their own relationships and start taking steps toward a more healthy and happier YOU.
