Rick Sanchez welcomes Correctional professionals Antony Gangi and Connie Alleyne to discuss the current state of Prisons in the United States. Gangi and Alleyne contend that while the common misconception is that modern prisons are horrendous places that offer neither rehabilitation nor hope, they are actually full of quality reform programs with multiple success stories. While Sanchez asserts that 84 billion dollars a year is too much for this country to be spending on prisons, they all agree that a major reason for prison overpopulation is police profiling and frivolous arrests.
