I started my first business in 2010. Over the years, my business didn’t grow but the intensity of my work did. It was like opposite lines moving on a chart. One plummeted while the other skyrocketed. And it wasn’t going the way I wanted it to.
I used to stay up late every night and work on my business. I used to take calls and record podcasts starting at 7pm after the baby went down, which was a terrible idea. I was missing out on a lot—mostly sleep, and time with my husband. And I wasn’t gaining much financial value from it at all.
Now that I don’t work in the evening anymore, I am able to do more relaxing things, like watching Bridgerton and knitting… and that’s what I want to talk about today. Knitting.
