Guest: Mahira Jain. Mahira Jain is an incoming freshman at Duke University. Her primary interest lies in History, Sociology, arts and understanding how design can be incorporated into public spaces and educational offerings. In keeping with this, she has taken part in activities that seek to make design more accessible and approachable in my community. She started FunWagon and CulturALL as a social project in grade 10th, to promote the importance of non-STEM subjects and cultural education among youngsters. For her humanitarian work, she has been awarded the Princess Diana Award and the Pramerica Spirit of Community award. At university, she is looking to study Visual arts and Innovation and entrepreneurship. Be inspired!
