In every season we must say, “God, show me your face. I want to see you.” This is the beginning of a beautiful and deeply intimate relationship with him. This perspective takes the view off of ourselves and places an emphasis on what He wants to do in and through us.

Psalm 34:4 has been a lot of encouragement to me recently, in developing intimacy during this season of life. 

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me;

he delivered me from all my fears.“
