A group of heroes, led by Sandblaster (Hugh Jackman), explores a vast desert in search of an ancient vehicle, known as the Dunestrider. They must survive the harshest of elements, battle militant groups of anthropomorphic rabbits, and outrun the ever-looming space nuns. Sandblaster, Waternity, The Weatherman, The Iliad, and a cat are struggling for their own futures as well as the future of the known universe.
