5 - How to be a light in the dark(41.37)

How to be a witness (9 lessons)

1. Be intentional. - v.26-29

2. Go into their space. - v.29-30

3. Move the conversation with a question that invites them to go deeper. - v.30

4. God acts as you open your mouth - "pray for me, that words may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel".

5. Take the first step toward a meaningful conversation then wait for them to take the next. - v.30-31

6. Don't monologue. Let them direct the conversation as much as you do. - v.31-34

7. Always aim towards Jesus. - v.35

8. The Spirit sends you into someone's life because he is already at work in them.

9. Don't be intimidated. Everyone has the same inner need for Christ, the same brokenness, the same searching heart.
