Zan knew his mom was always looking for good deals. So he would walk around the house saying what he wanted hoping his mom would buy that present. Then he would write a letter to Santa and ask for other things. Zan grew up in a very income diverse area. Some kids were getting Super Nintendo's for Christmas, and some kids were getting toothbrushes. Shawn didn't get socks for Christmas this year. It made him sad. Zan said I should have written my letter to Santa in front of my mom. Zan says that Shawn needs to have the birds and the bees talk with his kids. Zan says that as a parent you don't need to get caught up in too much honesty.
