Purity culture in Christianity has taught many harmful ideologies in regards to sexuality and the bible: convincing girls that they are at fault for the lust of men, or that you're dirty or "leftovers" if you're not sexually pure. The problem isn't purity, which is a biblical theme and guideline; the problem lies in the way that we've talked about it. In this week's episode, I discuss biblical purity, how we can pursue it and dismantle destructive lies that may potentially push us away from God and an abundant life in Him.
