Dave Benton is a singer and entertainer who settled in Estonia in the late 90's. He went on to win Eurovision for his adopted country and in doing so was the first person of color to win the competition.

While most people will know him from Eurovision, I think it's not not nearly the most interesting part of his story. We have a delightful talk about his early days as a singer in Antilles and the struggles he went through to establish himself and grow as an artist and performer.

For myself, as a foreigner trying to make a career in entertainment in Estonia, he is really the OG. It was my huge pleasure to have Dave in the studio.
