Ella Masar never really took a proper break from football after retiring from it as a professional player. She got her UEFA A coaching badges and went to the NWSL to become an assistant coach in Kansas City Current. As a player, she has represented clubs at the highest level in the USA, France, Norway, Sweden and Germany. In this episode, Masar talks about when she was about to retire, and Vfl Wolfsburg showed up out of nowhere, how it is to be a mum while coaching elite football and what she has learned during her first year coaching in the NWSL.
