George describes skiing at the Park West resort in Utah when he crashed into a woman.  She was fine, but George's ski popped off and hit him in the head, cutting a deep gash behind his ear.  He then tried skiing to the bottom while bleeding profusely, passing out over and over on the way before reaching a ski lodge where the ski patrol bandaged him up.  He later would get about 30 stitches to close up the wound.
