Our guest this week is Penny Gurstein - Professor and Director at of The School of Community & Regional Planning and Centre for Human Settlements. Penny is also the founder of The Housing Research Collaborative that includes past show guests Tom Davidoff and David Lee.

We met at UBC and had a wide ranging conversation about how housing affordability research.

Since recording this episode Penny has been appointment to the BC Housing Board of Commissioners whose role is to oversee policy implementation and provide strategic guidance to BC Housing, to help deliver on government’s plan for housing affordability and fairness.
