A Taiwanese immigrant, she is an award-winning & bestselling author who shares her Chinese culture with strong storytelling skills to create empowering memoirs, to build understanding and love. Allison has an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts and writes in both Chinese and English, both fiction and nonfiction. Her work appears in The New York Times and has won both national and international literary awards. Her debut memoir, Ninety-Nine Fire Hoops, launched in September 2021.
