There is an undeniable, authentic, funky soul to the sextet that calls themselves Mistar Anderson.

Three of the members (Eric, Andre, and John) join us to discuss the jazz influence they love and pay homage to.

Mistar Anderson began when drummer Andre had one of his first ever paid gig in Columbus. The man who paid him was lead singer Eric. "He hired my band. It was one of the first times I got paid in the city to do a gig," said Andre.

The story continues and the seamless rap and jazz fusion live on in these fresh rhythms, beats, and lyrics.
