Zak Moradi is a Kurdish-Irish activist, author of 'Life Begins in Leitrim', public speaker and former hurler who played for Leitrim. Born in a refugee camp in Iraq, Moradi and his family relocated to Carrick-on-Shannon, Ireland in 2002.
