And of those millions of kids, the vast majority attend America's public schools. With diagnoses of autism on the rise in the U.S., are we equipped to provide these students with the assistance they need? In this episode, Dr. Connie Kasari, Professor of Human Development and Psychology at UCLA, joins Kevin to help us better understand the challenges that students with autism face and what our schools can be doing to help overcome those obstacles.
