Today we’re talking about what happens when you fall off the pink cloud.
That state where everything feels exciting, aligned, full of possibility & you think you’ll never feel stressed, insecure, or overwhelmed again… until you do.
The term pink cloud comes from recovery, describing the euphoric phase in early sobriety where life feels brand new. But this doesn’t just happen with sobriety. It happens with new relationships, new jobs, new semesters, new business ideas, new health kicks, new cities... even new versions of yourself.
Eventually the honeymoon ends. The excitement fades.Reality sets in.
And suddenly your brain is in octopus mode juggling deadlines, expectations, and pressure, wondering why you can’t feel the way you did at the beginning.
In this episode, I talk about:
what the pink cloud actually is
We talk about grounding, routines, support systems, triggers, and how recovery tools apply to literally EVERY area of life, not just addiction.
Life itself is a recovery journey. And the goal isn’t to stay on the pink cloud forever.
It’s to learn how to stay centered in the boat… even when the water gets rough.
