I just came off of the best weekend celebrating friends. One of my best friends got married and so it was a weekend full of time spent surrounded by great people. It truly was refreshing to be in the company of friends. Friends are important and as someone who is post college living in a mall town it can be hard to find community. This weekend was a great reminder though of why it is so important. Why the effort should be made to keep in touch with those who are important in your life. Reach out to that old friend who you have not touched base with in a while or actively pursue putting yourself out there to meet new people.
