This week, I dive with my friend Steven Bridges into the process of what it's like to purchase a new apparatus from a manufacturing company. We go into the whole process, how long it takes, what it's like, and some tips Steven's learned through the years. If you've never been through the process before, this is definitely an episode that will open your eyes and give you a good starting point for your own purchase. This will be a part 1 of 2 - with the 2nd part being an interview with an apparatus manufacturing company for their views and tips on the process - to be recorded & released in the future.
We end the episode with another segment of "Family Firefighter Survival". Each guest episode, we will dig into how the job works & intertwines with family life, what they have learned along the way, and how they make the best of it with their family today.
