    • Team achievements in your time there - since 2006 4 gold, 1 silver, manager of 2015 team, USA Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year 2015

    • Guys that you can trust, get along with, and want to go to battle with
  • If everyone is not pulling the rope in the same direction in order for you to accomplish your goals and do things the right way
  • Provide honest feedback, don’t want yes guys as assistants. 
  • Stepping into the box, and not hoping you are going to get a hit, knowing you will get a hit
  • Approach in the box and on the mound (I want the ball)
  • Real vs feel - knowing what I am feeling or thinking might not be actually what I doing
  • Positive self talk - having the approach in practice, and taking it into games
  • We would rather lose with winners, than win with losers
  • Community service work - feed the homeless, entire program, miracle league whiffle ball with special needs
  • We get to use baseball to teach them about life. 
  • We live what we preach. Walking the walk
  • Selfless and uncommon are huge words in our program
  • Get a group of coaches that you can bounce ideas of each other, get things from, just learn from, and talk to is invaluable
  • Pro step vs crow hop - teach them both and let the speed of the ball, and the player choose their own way to throw it
  • Keep learning and bettering yourself each and everyday
