RIP Olivia Newton-John, and More Fallout Talk
Shortly before this episode was recorded, actress Olivia Newton-John succumbed to breast cancer at 73 years old. Nicole and Jack discuss her passing, with Nicole unaware of just how long ONJ was ill. Jack notes that Newton-John was befuddled at one point by a disappearing ex-husband.
Elsewhere, Nicole and Jack further their discussion about the Fallout series. Nicole can’t believe Jack hasn’t played the Nuka-World DLC in Fallout 4. They also rank the almost-equally fantastic DLC in Fallout: New Vegas.
Stray is Nicole’s GOTY
Before segueing away from discussing video games, Nicole announces that Stray is her game of the year. This part of the episode contains spoilers about the end of Stray; be warned!
In wrapping up this long overdue reunion, Nicole and Jack discuss the frequency at which they attended concerts back in the day. Some of their best shows include Biffy Clyro, Arctic Monkeys, and Counting Crows. Nicole mentions that she can use her incredibly short stature to her advantage when it comes to getting close to the stage.
