Darlene Ortiz, widely recognizable for being the woman Ice T's Power album joins Tim on The Hip Hop Interviews with Tim Einenkel,  this week to talk about her newest memoir called Definition Of Down – My Life with Ice-T & the Birth Of Hip-Hop. She talks to Tim about the iconic Power album cover, her struggles as a child of an alcoholic mother, being a part of and a witness to the birth of west coast hip hop; and Tim shares a story about his grandmother buying him and his brothers bootleg NWA tapes.
