Waterproof 6/13/03

i'm staring at the end of the bottom of the barrel  she looks outside and checks her clock
i'm feeling a slight faint                                                           wearing sunglasses in the night
i don't know what to do and what to think                  not one comment made at the table

i'm sliding into doors made of glass                                 he wears a crown of gummy bears
shields and screens filled with smoke                             sleeps with his headphones
this is my favorite joke                                                             and dark is the night

at the bottom of a lake                                                             everyone is at the bottom of the lake
i can finally take a bath                                                            with no towels, high and dry
in a tub, i'm rub-a-dub                                                              floating ashore, so very bored
i wish my TV was waterproof                                               so very comfortable in a tub
                                                                                                               i wish i was waterproof
