We @TheCottage take a break from our series on Sacred Spaces in the Bible. In this episode, we continue our previous episode from Joshua 9 as a background for our special Mother's Day edition. Happy Mother's Day! In the days of the Bible and in so many parts of the world today, the culture is highly patriarchal. Women often are marginalized. Here we explore one such example where a woman saves the day when men are not up to the mark, and a mother saves her sons even in their death. This is a testimony to how women often are put in precarious positions and must simple make do.
